oh god no.
Not applications. Maybe a quiz, but not applications :/ |
Quiz on what? How to be a moderator? People will be the obvious choices. Forum history? That's called lurking.
An application actually makes people work. |

Like for instance:
Why do you want to be a moderator?
How often are you on usually?
What is your most active section?
Are you a developer?
Will you use your mod powers to pick on misunderstood noobs?
etc.
And yes, the last question isn't as obvious as it looks. |

Quizzes don't require gruesome long answers and large-ass vocabularies. |

All you get from quizzes are the same answers from different people. Filling an application isn't necessarily a huge essay. It's basically the quiz but with YOUR OWN answers. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm assuming yout talking about the kind of quizzes that you click the bubbles then submit. |

Actually no, I assumed you meant application like a resume.
And for that I say heck no. With the bubbles, lolno. Basically we mean the same thing, we're just using different words. |

I think Cleod should pick the mods, and we shouldn't have any influence on who he picks.
In other words, don't suggest who should be a mod. |

If it goes like that, if we get mods that we don't respect, we're gonna have an even bigger problem.
This is not communism, this is a DEMOCRACY!!!

Technically, that'd be monarchy what I said...
But sometimes, the leader needs to say something so the people don't end up putting some noob or newbie as a mod...
Maybe it should be a sort of mod-only vote to determine another mod? |

Cleod isn't even close to being dumb enough to make a newbie a moderator.
Applications/Quizzes Leads to a vote by moderators and adminstators. |

We don't have 1 leader. We have mods and 2 admins. Communism because they are controlling what we say, how we say it, and etc.
And having and specific group vote on staff is dumb. Open to everyone is the way to go.
WE NEED CAMPAIGN THREADS!
lol. |
