...136?
I mean, the code I had possibly had what like ten max?
Anyway lets not make this a topic of idle useless chat and instead just come with new themes and such. |

Screw you Racoon. If people want to make a SSB type game, let them. YOU always preach about how YOU shouldn't rely on Cleod's ssf2 for a game, and YOU should make a game. Well, they are. Will a lot of them fail? Yes. Will most give up? Yes. But NOBODY owns them. If they want to make a game, let them! Cleod wasn't the first person to think of a ssf type game, so why is it that everything is a ssf clone? |

Wow, what a considerably ill thought post.
First not only do you insult me, but you only make it on one of the subjects I covered.
The main reason why I even said to stop making them is because they are trying to do a big project without even having the fundamentals down.

2. Now let’s get into deeper affairs. I want you people to learn about how to make images not jump from frame to frame. Let’s try to improve the quality of positioning that goes for attacks as well.
3. When making a flash and you’re only beginning, including me, try to make short demonstrations. If it’s a game make it one level. So don’t go for a long tedious journey of fifty levels.
4. Get down the basics, jumping, tweening, and scripting the basics of whatever genre you’re going in (fighting, platforming, etc.)
Now try to actually start small. I know everyone wants to start of a flash genuis but I'm pretty sure Cleod didn't start of with a humungous project either.
This a racoon and his PSA |
How could you even talk to me like that unless you read and maybe took time to understand exactly what my point was?
Instead of going of like some passionate mother, next time read and comprehend what I was saying.
Another thing I always preach!? This one time means I've been doing this an infinite number of times?
No, they could darn well do these flashes...after they get the basics down. Starting high well only have a bigger fall. A reason why many have given up is because they become overwhelmed by the stature of programming, and graphics. So like I said before, start small. It's hard because we people have ideas they want to get out. But starting small will have a fruitful end.
Oh, and lastly don't put words in my text by saying everything was a ssf clone. I just said smash bros. flash attempts, meaning the nintendo series; not directly at Cleods creation. |

I can comment on whatever section I want, first off.
And you DON'T always need to start small. |

If you want to make decent games, then yes, start small. |
